Hello I'm Phoebe
I thought my first blog should be an introduction to me and my little family....
I have lived in Cornwall for six years with my husband and two girls, Lanza is five and Catoots is 15 weeks old and not forgetting our beloved pooch Frodo who is nine. I would describe myself as a creative, determined individual, methodical with even the simplest of tasks such as packing the shopping or hanging washing (which often drives my family mad!) Once I had planned my own wedding, which was held in Portugal at a gorgeous venue in the valley at Pedralva, I wanted to plan my day all over again, and so it seemed the only natural career path was to become a wedding planner and share my passion and energy with brides to be.
I gained invaluable guidance from Jane at Petitie Weddings whom I still work alongside on a few projects. This industry has a very inclusive and supportive nature and I feel so lucky to work alongside other creative individuals.
I would describe my own wedding as being rustic, with a nod to nature, we built most of the decorations by hand using material, feathers, flowers and wood, I am a real fan of simple, natural beauty, I'm a bohemian soul at heart. My husband and I met in Portugal in 2011 and Pedralva village was where we went to eat on our first date so it seemed only natural to get married where we first fell for each other. When I help clients choose their location often we talk for hours about how a couple met at where their love story began, it's such a special time.
I truly believe it’s important for a couple to have exactly what they wish for on their wedding day and in most cases I am proud to say these wishes come true. I have no rules in my practice of wedding planning, only advice, guidance and a promise that the day will be a magical one, that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.
